You might be asking yourself, what exactly am I looking at here? That would be a fair question. It started life as a standard Troopy, but the owner has chopped it into Ute with with a custom fabricated wide body kit at the rear. The Owner has also installed a custom roll structure that when covered with canvas replicates the original Troopy body lines.
To support such a wild build we fitted it with a Superior Engineering Coil Conversion kit. These kits are designed for the Duel Cab Landcrusiers not the Troopy's, but we were able to modify the kit and the vehicle to make it work. As far as we are aware this is the first time this has been done by anyone. The coil conversion lifts the vehicle 3 inch's and dramatically improves the ride and offroad performance of the vehicle with levels of articulation leaf spring cruisers can only dream of. The coil conversion also includes one of Superior Engineering's ultra tough Diamond diff housing which makes the rear end pretty much indestructible and corrects the track width (hence the wide body kit). Its also paired with a Superior Hyperflex front end and a Dwiz front axle..... and if that all wasn't enough the vehicle has been fitted with a 2inch body lift an 315/75R16 tyres.
To support all these modifications the engine has received a bit of a tickle with an upgraded intake, intercooler, exhaust and a water cooled alternator.
